How Odd...

Hi again!

I had a request for how I color a Some Odd Girl face, so here's a video showing her face and hair.

Then I went ahead and made a video coloring up the rest of the image. Happy New Year!

The finished card can be seen here.

Matchmaker, matchmaker...

make me a match...
I like to match my marker colors with the colors in the papers I'm using for the card. I'm a bit OCD that way, plus I think it's a good way to stretch outside the comfort zone of automatic color families and play with the vast capabilities of these markers. So while I was in video making mode today became the perfect opportunity to show my process.
The Copic Color Chart can be printed from here
Copic is adding 12 new colors in a couple of months, so you may want to wait until the new chart is out before printing it and filling it out.

Finished card can be seen here.

And if anyone is interested, I'm giving away a pack of 6 secondary colors of Copic Sketch markers and a Sweet November Fairwee Daphne stamp over at my YouTube Channel.

'No Lines' coloring technique with Carisa

Carisa is sharing how she colors an image with a technique called "no lines" using Copic Markers. She has broken the techniques into two parts, in the first video she does most of the coloring and in the second she finishes up by drawing the facial features back onto the image using Prisma colored pencils. Enjoy! :)
